Hi, i'm Adrienne Chen

I’m a third-year Industrial Design student at Carleton University, passionate about creating thoughtful, user-centered designs that blend functionality with deep-rooted research. I’m always drawn to new experiences and fresh perspectives, letting the unexpected guide my ideas and inspire my approach to design and problem-solving.

I’m particularly interested in working across diverse areas of design, including home goods, athletic gear, product design, consultancy work, and creating installation pieces. I enjoy collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, turning insights into designs that are thoughtful and engaging, where every detail serves a purpose and enhances user experience.

Outside of design, I'm someone who loves spontaneity and learning new things. I enjoy being active outdoors, getting in touch with nature, playing sports, and diving into creative crafts. I’m fascinated by the world around me, from different cultures and traditions to the everyday objects and rituals that shape people’s lives. Observing, questioning, and reimagining these moments inspires not only my design work but also my personal growth.
